This is the first fully digital piece I have made, and I was surprised at how easy it is to use the digital sketch pad in photoshop.

The subject is Qinnitan, my favorite character from Shadowmarch.* She's kind of a shy little girl who get's fed up with a God King and flips him the bird before she hightails it across the ocean. Unfortunately, the psychotic God King dude wasn't finished with her, so he laid siege to a kingdom to get her back. While that sounds romantic, Qinnitan had her reasons for running away (for example, God King dude had an orchestra improvise along with a man's screams as he was tortured to death - for three days).

It's a good book.
